Happy Easter everybody! Three juicy pieces of news that I'm hearing:
1. An anonymous source tells me that Olimpija have hired a new coach, Ben Cooper, who was an 'Associate Coach' this year and last year at Red Bull Salzburg (and an assistant there for two years before that). He has NHL experience as an assistant with the Florida Panthers and as a video coach with the Vancouver Canucks. This seems like a fantastic hire and exactly in keeping with what the Roundtable Boys and I were hoping for. Even better, in fact, because he's not just a foreign coach with extensive high-level experience - he also already knows the ICE League very well. Most importantly, he knows how to win the ICE League...

2. Multiple sources tell me that Nick Bonino is in fact staying next season. I am very surprised but very pleased to hear this, not least because I've had the chance to meet his wonderful family over the past few months.
3. From a very credible source (me, lol), I have a meeting with Olimpija in early May to discuss how I can do some work for them. This is clearly just as important as the other two pieces of news... 😌😂
